7/28/2015 – The Oklahoma County District Attorney’s office is finally attempting to do what they should have done last year – put an admitted child sex trafficker in prison where he belongs!
JohnTV readers will recall the name Joshua Ray Hudson. He’s the 22-year old Edmond man that in 2013 admitted to the sex trafficking of a 16-year old pregnant child and was allowed to rescind his guilty plea and instead pled guilty to simple computer crimes (placing the prostitution ads of the 16-year old on Backpage.com).
To ad insult to injury, the Oklahoma County DA’s office asked that Hudson only receive a deferred sentence – probation only, no conviction and the opportunity to have his criminal record expunged.
As JohnTV predicted, within a short time Hudson had already reoffended – and in a big way.
As reported by JohnTV, this past June Hudson was pursued by Sac and Fox Tribal officers after they tried to pull him over. Hudson’s refusal to stop led to a 16 hour manhunt after Hudson allegedly fired several shots at police – striking their vehicles and almost killing the officers.
When Hudson was eventually located he was in the company of a 15-year old girl that was only wearing a bikini.
Family members of the girl and a law enforcement source tells JohnTV that there is evidence Hudson was sex trafficking the young girl.
On June 23, Hudson was criminally charged in Seminole County with 12 felonies and one misdemeanor.
Unable to further ignore the criminal activity of Hudson, Oklahoma County District Attorney’s office was forced to actually do their job and move to revoke Hudson’s probation.
Just last night Hudson was taken back into custody and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail.
Hudson is set to be arraigned in Oklahoma County on August 4.
Hudson’s next court appearance in Seminole County is set for Aug. 21st.
